Our outdoor ‘Divot Action Winter Mat’ is born through our experience and feedback from customers and we are excited to introduce a new concept and design into the golf industry for outdoor winter mats. With years of experience in the golf sim business we have spent a lot of time perfecting our indoor mats, experimenting and trying to recreate real life golf feels we get outside particularly the feel of making a divot, we have now applied this experience to manufacture our outdoor mat. Some of our unique selling points are the 6 x compression vents installed on the mat, 3d spikes for stable shot and unique ability for mat to bend and form to the contours of the course. No other Rigid base winter mat sits as close the ground as ours with a slimeline base made from an engineering grade high density plastic and short pile artificial grass!
One of the big problems we had with other winter mats was once the ball was struck the turf has nowhere to go and this can create a spring like effect of the club head on impact, this feel is rather unrealistic to what happens when a club head interacts with real turf. While the problem of creating an artificial mat to act exactly as grass when struck is impossible we have made strides to best mimic this feel and the Divot Action Winter Mat has been born.
